Subdomains are URLs for different sections of your website. They use your main domain name and a prefix. For example, if your domain is maindomain.com a sub-domain of your domain might be new.maindomain.com.

Subdomains are relative to your account htdocs directory. A folder in the same name as the subdomain is created for you to upload your websites files into. Each sub domain is a new unique website.
